The Office of the President released a photograph of Zelenskyy conducting a meeting in the dark. However, the screen in the image is illuminated, raising questions about potential image manipulation to create the impression of a ‘blackout’.
Two MPs have commented on the situation. ‘A small tip for the PR team of the Office of the President: If you’ve decided to make a photo as if there’s no light, you should actually turn it off in the entire room and make sure that the view from the camera on the photo is not reflected on the screen,’ said MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
‘What’s funniest is that Mykhailo (Deputy Head of the Office of the President – Ed.) is in the adjacent room where there is light. Who comes up with this – a true genius,’ MP Aleksey Goncharenko wrote.
